New adventure..

So I have finally joined the blogging family. Seeing how much everyone connects through the blog I felt I should join the circle and share new adventures. Also going off to college soon will be "so hard" for my parents to handle, so I want to keep them on board of what’s shaking in my new college lifestyle. Although college is still 139 days away lol, yes I am counting, hear is some info on the new chapter in life.

I am going to be attending Evergreen State College in the fall. It is out here in Olympia the state capital. Right off the Puget Sound, it is breathtaking. They do call it the hippie school, but who wouldn't love the 1969 peace and love rhythm. I’m going to major in zoology, wow who would of thunk, and pursue my dream of working with animals. Last Friday I went up to Evergreen to register for my first quarter program, which is called Hop on Pop. No I will not be studying Dr. Seuss, but it is a program that covers many subjects like Pop culture, American history, writing, cinema studies and much more. I am so stoked about this school because of how unique and different their way of teaching is. To start you have one class for a whole quarter kind of like elementary school but the boys don’t think you have koodies. There is at most 25 students per teacher so no overwhelming classrooms. And the best part is you kind have become a family during that quarter of learning, which I think will help push me to my full potential. The school is also very environmentally friendly with an organic farm, recycled buildings, and even some plumbing running on Seattle rain. So Friday was a great day because I learn so much about my school and met several friends already who are just as eager to begin school. Oh and finally did I mention our mascot is the stunning GEODUCK a mullusk which lives off the Puget Sound.

So sense school is so far away, I just plan to enjoy my summer which kind of already started being that is 76 degrees today. I enjoyed hanging out with Jake out on the back porch with his water toys and awesome swing. I also plan to find a fun job to earn me some money to save up for college. I can’t wait to come back in town and visit my friends and enjoy a sunny week at my cottage in Catawba Island. Defiantly going to hit up some Cedar Point with friends and family as well. Well I going to try and be efficient on my blog but be patient I am still a teenager so I can be lazy at times.

Here are some pictures of me in Washington so far...

Now some pictures of Evergreen...
